Is it moving onward? Learning in 21st Century

I believe that the 21st century learning is basically the integration of the technology into the classroom. The biggest and most distinctive difference between the former eras, which was based on memorization and mnemonics, and 21st century learning is the advancement of technology, our cooperation with it and our integration it into the classroom environment. As I'll be an English teacher in the coming years, I believe I personally and my future students will benefit it a lot. Besides, forcing students to do critical thinking and to boost their imagination and creativity are the other leading features of this centuries comprehension.

When all the globe is well-interconnected, I mean all the nations are easily travelling and moving more and more, and the lingua franca is currently English, the language education is highly important as well, especially for the people teaching it: the English teachers, including me.

If I was a teacher before the 21st century, I would probably rely on only paper for writing, couple of books for reading if
there was any; on radio (if I could find one) for listening and trying to find people that speak English for speaking, which would be really hard. But now, we have internet and an abundance of sources and we can read anything in seconds, we can listen to podcasts, we can find online friends for improving speaking. These whole advantages will definitely accelerate our learning English or any other language. All in all, the technology has improved the learning process a lot and it is still doing.
