Corpus? or Should I say "an endless knowledge"?

Today I am excited, you know the reason? It is because we; me, my two dear friends, Bilal and Yusuf Eren have created a lesson plan based on Assure Modal of teaching in "Current Issues in Teaching" lecture. Our lecturer Mustafa Polat has assigned us a corpus-based lesson plan and let me explain it!

We have chosen a unit, which is sports, and we have selected a specific grammar context to teach and that was "for and since". We created a material, with some attractive styles and colours so that our students will be interested. Then, we have made lesson plan based on ASSURE model. You can click on and see in detail. 

One of the most important parts of the assignment was to use Corpus. There are several of them and we have picked up "COCA". While creating them all, we enjoyed every second of it. We skimmed over and over again and tried to make it perfect. I hope we did!

To be honest, I have never used corpus before and now I realized how beneficial and perfect it is when dealing with English. Probably, I will never stop using it since it is literally awesome, an endless knowledge...I am looking forward to introducing it to my future students in real, as well!
